St. Johannes Hospital belongs to the Kath. St.-Johannes-Gesellschaft gGmbH which consolidate 6 different facilities: 3 Hospitals, 2 nursing homes and 1 in-patient youth welfare service. All laboratory services are centralized at St. Johannes Hospital which is the biggest hospital in the whole organisation and is supporting as well an additional external Hospital – the Hüttenhospital. Every day we are responsible for approximately 1.200 hospital beds and we are analysing 200.000 blood samples a year.
