Customer Introduction
The laboratory Zentrallabor Zürich (ZLZ) is a merger of five private/public hospitals and Unilabs Zürich, a private laboratory of the Unilabsgroup.
ZLZ has been founded in 1997 with the common goal to perform central lab-services for all partners.
As a service provider in health care, all services provided as a company or by our individual employees are focused on the following three principles:
- highest possible analyze and production quality
- customer friendliness at all company levels
- knowledgeable academic and scientific support
The following clinics/hospitals are engaged in the ZLZ:
- Universitätsklinik Balgrist
- Klinik Hirslanden
- Klinik Im Park
- Schulthess Klinik
- Spital Zollikerberg.
Beside the main laboratory at the Forchstrasse 361 the ZLZ runs a satellite laboratory at the peripherally located Klinik Im Park. This laboratory is under the management of the ZLZ and performs emergency analyzes on site, during limited business hours. The remaining hospitals have no in-house laboratories any more, except for Point-of-Care-Analytics.
The ZLZ is an ISO/IEC 17025 certified 24-hour emergency laboratory. The altogether 35 employees perform services in the fields of clinical chemistry, clinical immunology, hematology, immunohematology (incl. blood bank) and microbiology.
