Sustainability at Sysmex Europe

At Sysmex, we aim to improve society’s health and quality of life and contribute to a healthier and better life – to a sustainable future worldwide. Besides providing better access to medical care and to improve diagnostics with powerful instruments, health and a prosperous future are depending on a healthy surrounding, the environment. Therefore, Sysmex cares about the environmental sustainability and aligns its activities and business with the global UN sustainable development goals (SDG). To take sustainability seriously has become increasingly important. That is why Sysmex Europe put three main aspects on its agenda to focus on: Environment, Society and Governance.

We take sustainability management seriously, as it has become increasingly important in areas such as environment, society incl. diversity and inclusion (D&I), supply chain management, human rights, and governance. It is also crucial for building a sustainable structure while promoting efforts to address each issue in the long run and aligning vector of our management strategy with these social trends.

Underpinning these efforts is the “Sysmex Way.”

Our goal is to think and draw up strategy in the “Sysmex Way,” ultimately aligning our corporate culture with this philosophy. We strive towards the realisation of a sustainable society and engage in enhancing corporate values based on our mission as expressed in the “Sysmex Way” – “Shaping the advancement of healthcare” in the EMEA region.
