We´re looking for a new team member to support our Sysmex Inostics team in Hamburg:

Business Analyst (f/m) 

The Business Analyst has the responsibility to support Sysmex Inostics both main business fields, global CRO Services (LDT) and Kit product development, as well as the Shared Services from a finance/ business perspective. This covers forecasting, monthly management reporting, regular and ad hoc financial analysis regarding Sales and Expense control, preparing actionable financial suggestions, quarterly and annual bonus calculations, license fee calculations and other business supporting activities.

The Business Analyst will interact with the SI Senior Management Team as well as functional heads to ensure the SI organization is favorably positioned for financial growth and efficiency and optimized in internal processes. The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing and controlling streamlined tools and processes regarding the mentioned above business areas.


Your responsibilities

  • Oversees and carries responsibility for forecasting, monthly management reporting, regular and ad hoc financial analysis regarding Sales and Expense control, preparing actionable financial suggestions, quarterly and annual bonus calculations, license fee calculations and other business supporting activities.
  • Responsible for compiling and providing timely and accurate monthly management reporting including a rolling forecast to local management at SI and LSBU at parent company, as well as to vendors which includes that all financial figures are completely and accurately reflected and triangulated, as well as appropriately commented.
  • Upon request support of transfer pricing calculations and implementation of transfer prices between SIG and SII, as well as between SIG and RHQs.
  • Coordinate and support audits carried out by Sysmex Corporation.
  • Support of finance audits and support finding adequate and efficient solutions on audit-deviations in a professional and cooperative manner and climate.
  • Support the CEO or CFO in all kinds of presentation.
  • Review and develop commercial processes to streamline the overall admin. workflow, information and communication flow.
  • Coordinate and establish appropriate procedures between the Commercial Departments and the Administration Departments of SII and SAI as a function of the Shared Service Center (SCC).  

 

Your Profile 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant fields required; MBA desired. 
  • Minimum 3 years finance or business administration position with meaningful experience in forecasting, financial modeling, monthly management reporting regular and ad hoc financial analysis regarding Sales and Expense control, preparing actionable financial suggestions, quarterly and annual bonus calculations, license fee calculations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement finance models and administrative tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills regarding numbers and preparation for drawing conclusions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory.
  • Experience in analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a commercial environment.
  • Fluent in German and English, verbally and in writing 
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Database knowledge
  • SAP S/D knowledge, Cubes knowledge
