Inside Sales Executive – Europe

OGT are seeking an ambitious, talented and motivated individual to drive the sales of OGT’s innovative range of Cytocell® FISH products in the European market. The ISE will develop sales via phone and e-mail and work collaboratively with field-based sales managers to meet and exceed sales targets for a specific sales territory. You will also work with marketing to define, develop & implement outbound campaign activity including direct mail, lead qualification and follow up. Reporting to the European & ROW Sales Manager, the successful candidate will make a significant contribution to the ambitious sales targets that are driving OGT’s commercial development.

Role and Responsibilities:

  •     Work with the sales team in the development of regional and account-specific sales plans
  •     Execution of plan to meet sales quotas
  •     Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads via telephone and email
  •     Map opportunities and key accounts within the European and ROW region
  •     Utilization and maintenance of CRM
  •     Provide support to sales team in progressing opportunities in their territories
  •     Partner cross-functionally to appropriately address the needs of customer base
  •     Provide regular, accurate revenue forecasts
  •     Manage new and existing customer base
  •     Understand local competitive landscape and provide feedback to OGT

Background and Experience:

  •     Life Science Degree is required, advanced degree preferred
  •     FISH, clinical oncology and regulatory experience strongly favoured
  •     Demonstrated track record in lead generation and prospecting
  •     Highly adaptable and independent
  •     Excellent project, network management and organizational skills
  •     Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships
  •     Previous demonstrated success with complex sales and complex purchasing processes
  •     Ideally located in the UK or continental Europe, working from home but with close links to the Cytocell office in Cambridge
  •     Fluent spoken and written English and German language required, additional language skills a bonus
  •     10% field travel required
