International New Business Development Manager (f/m/div) for in-Vitro Diagnostics

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct and bundle all activities needed to identify innovative new business opportunities in order to support Sysmex’s further growth mainly in its core businesses haematology, haemostasis and urinalysis
  • Assess innovative business fields, market trends and technologies to expand our portfolio
  • Evaluate new market segments, products and customer target groups in the light of unmet market needs
  • Plan and conduct market research (desktop and/or in the field)
  • Prepare business cases and business plans including analysis of strategic fit and uniqueness, competitive analysis and risk assessment, IP situation, state of development, technology assessment, business model and financial projections
  • Lead and fully responsibly drive the management of new business projects
  • Align strategies with our business lines’ strategy boards, EMEA affiliates and Sysmex Corporation, Japan

Your profile

  • Scientific or medical degree
  • Professional experience in the development of new business areas
  • Several years of experience in IVD, knowledge of workflows in clinical laboratory and at least in one of the following fields: Hematology, hemostasis or urinalysis
  • Achievements in managing international and interdisciplinary projects
  • Highly structured and analytical way of working
  • Strong business orientation and the ability to capture the big picture
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Pioneering spirit
