A key feature of the TS-01 is its ability to perform optional pre-analysis sorting based on sample order profiles. The TS-01 sorts samples based on the orders of downstream modules (e.g., slide preparation, ESR, HbA1c). By sorting blood sample tubes before analysis, it optimises the flow of samples on the processing line, reducing bottlenecks and delays. This is especially valuable for labs processing a high proportion of samples with complex order profiles: the TS-01 helps ensure smooth and timely operations.

Whether used on its own or as part of an XR-9000 automation line, the tube sorter TS-01 adapts to your workflow. Guided by the Extended IPU and Control Terminal CT-90, it offers customisable sorting priorities, a flexible layout, and a spacious, adaptable tube buffer to ensure the system can be tailored to your exact needs.
When used together in an automation line in individual positions, TS-01 and TA-01 provide seamless tube handling from pre- to post-analysis stages. This setup brings a very high degree of automation to mid-size labs – helping you work as smart and fast as only large laboratories could do until now.
TS-01 can be placed at the beginning of the automation line for pre-sorting and rack optimisation. It can also be positioned after the haematology analysers to sort tubes for downstream analysis. TA-01 handles storage, either next to BT-50 at the beginning of the automation line or at the end. Therefore, using both devices instead of a single TS-10 – where rack optimisation and sample storage happen at a single fixed point in the automation line – gives you greater flexibility. This makes it even easier to adapt layouts and workflows to your lab’s specific needs.
