Chemistry that fits anywhere.
The UC-1100 urine chemistry analyser supports routine urine chemistry testing in a wide range of laboratory environments. Designed for flexible use, it combines compact design, efficient workflows and intuitive operation to support daily laboratory routines.
With its small footprint and versatile configuration options, the UC-1100 can operate as a standalone analyser, integrated into a UN-Series solution or used as part of an existing urinalysis workflow. This allows laboratories to adapt urine chemistry testing to their operational needs while maintaining established processes.
Efficient routine testing with intuitive operation
The UC-1100 provides urine chemistry results in less than one minute, supporting efficient sample processing in both near-patient testing environments and routine laboratory settings. Operation is intuitive and designed to require minimal training for daily use, supporting consistent handling in laboratories with varying staff experience.
A 7-inch touchscreen supports clear visualisation of information and straightforward interaction during routine operation, contributing to ease of use in everyday workflows. Optional online training modules are available to support laboratory training concepts in line with quality management and accreditation requirements.
Supporting screening approaches in routine practice
The UC-1100 enables the combined measurement of albumin and creatinine on a single test strip. This supports screening approaches for the early detection of chronic kidney disease by allowing calculation of the albumin/creatinine (ALB/CRE) and protein/creatinine ratio (PRO/CRE) as part of routine urine chemistry testing. These results can support clinical assessment within established diagnostic pathways.
Same strengths. Expanded capabilities.
The UC-1100 is the successor to the UC-1000 and has been developed to support continuity in routine laboratory workflows while incorporating functional enhancements that address current laboratory requirements.
Connectivity options have been expanded to support integration into laboratory information systems. LAN connectivity enables bidirectional communication, supporting structured data exchange and improved traceability within laboratory workflows.
Quality control and user management functions have also been extended. Advanced QC settings support enhanced data traceability, including documentation of reagent lot information and user identification (username / operator ID). The system can register up to 100 users, allowing controlled access in laboratories with larger teams. User log-in can be performed by scanning a barcode on an employee badge, reducing manual input and supporting standardised operation.
To support higher workloads and data retention needs, internal storage capacity has been increased from 5,000 to 10,000 results.
Overall, the UC-1100 maintains familiar workflows in routine urine chemistry testing while providing additional functionality to support modern laboratory environments.
