Business Intelligence Developer (f/m/x)

Your responsibilities

What if you could be the key to enabling smarter, faster, and more data-driven decision-making across EMEA? As a Business Intelligence Developer (f/m/x), you play a vital role in designing and developing our business reporting landscape. You ensure that reliable data is available and support our colleagues across EMEA with insights, tools, and know-how. Your key responsibilities include: 
  • Designing and developing advanced business reports across Sales, Finance, Controlling, and Service departments
  • Building semantic models and OLAP Cubes
  • Creating reports and dashboards in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder
  • Developing and maintaining Microsoft Fabric elements (Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse)
  • Implementing backend and interface logic using T-SQL
  • Extracting and combining data from SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and various data sources.
  • Acting as a project lead or project member in multiple BI initiatives
  • Empowering colleagues in EMEA to build and use BI reports confidently through hands-on support and knowledge sharing 

Your profile

You are a great fit for this role if you are driven by turning data into insights and enjoy building robust solutions that support business decisions across EMEA. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:
  • Background in Business Administration or related fields
  • Several years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server developer
  • Experience with the Microsoft BI Stack
  • Good programming skills in VB.NET, C#, or Python
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Microsoft Excel including macros, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset 
  • Curiosity to look beyond the obvious and understand the bigger picture 
  • Initiative and ownership, striving being an expert in your field
