(Junior) Strategic Project Manager (f/m/x) EMEA M&A
Your responsibilities
As a (Junior) Strategic Project Manager (EMEA M&A) (f/m/x), you support commercial projects led by M&A, focusing on geographic investments. You combine strong analytical skills with structured project management to ensure smooth execution and impactful outcomes. Your key responsibilities include:
Financial analysis support:
- Conducting financial analyses for new business investments, including business case and business plan formulation
- Creating financial models
- Conducting valuations
Project management support:
- Executing the defined project scope
- Creating project management documents in line with company standards and keeping them up to date as ‘living documents’
- Providing first-level support for all project members by supplying the appropriate documents and tools
- Managing the Post-Merger Integration (PMI) phase of related projects
Your profile
You are a great fit for this role if you are driven by delivering tangible business outcomes and enjoy combining analytical depth with strategic thinking. You thrive in dynamic environments and take ownership to ensure projects move forward with structure and clarity. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:
- Degree in Business Administration or Finance, Finance or project management-related certificates are an advantage
- Accounting and finance expertise is a must, with deep knowledge on PL/ BS/ CF
- A few hands-on M&A experiences, especially related to financial modelling, valuation, and project management, are preferred
- Outcome-oriented mindset; highly motivated to complete assigned tasks by given deadlines with the required quality, even under challenging conditions
- High agility and adaptability in changing environments paired with analytical and structured way of thinking
- Strong organisational skills are essential
- Experience in leading or supporting projects, including business case development, is preferred
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
