XLVII Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology
The primary goal of the Portuguese Society for Immunology is to promote and support excellence in research, building dialogue platforms and advance training between physicians, researchers, professors and students working in the different areas of Immunology for the benefit of human health.
The meeting aims to disseminate the latest scientific advances to an audience of researchers, teachers, students, medical experts and the pharmaceutical industry for a very prolific meeting. It will emphasise the areas of Chronic Inflammation, Aging and Cancer Immunology, Infections and Vaccines, and Beyond Humans- Imaging Immunity.
This year there will be a Workshop of the Iberian Flow Cytometry Society (SIC), with the presence of Alberto Orfão (Spain) and other distinguished guests. This important scientific event represents a new milestone for SIC in its aim to congregate Iberian cytometrists. In fact, recognising the growing challenges for Flow Cytometry in the unravelled fields of Immunology, brought by the advances of technology along with the development of an all-new world of immunotherapies and immunomodulators.
