The Pannoramic 250 Flash III provides the highest possible throughput; up to 250 slides can be loaded continuously and scanned automatically without manual intervention. Unlike the smaller models, this slide scanner uses Flash technology. This makes it possible to scan a slide in just 18 seconds with consistently high quality.

The speed and exceptional image quality of its predecessor, the Pannoramic 250 Flash II, made waves at the International Scanner Contest 2012 held by the Berlin-based Charité. Yet the new Pannoramic 250 Flash III scans at twice that speed, making it a particularly attractive solution for routine applications.

Dark-field preview
Equipped with highly sophisticated technology, this slide scanner not only offers bright-field and fluorescence microscopy but also offers dark-field preview illumination to scan tissue sections. This is particularly useful when analysing areas of tissue with low contrast.

Software

Pannoramic control software – included

The Pannoramic control software is the user interface that controls your Pannoramic slide scanner. This software supports your daily work processes and the handling of the Pannoramic 250 Flash III.

To optimise the workflow, all scanners automatically detect the specimen, focus on the tissue and create a preview on the screen. A photograph of the slide label is also created or its barcode is read. This supports archiving, saves time and reduces costs.

CaseViewer – included

The CaseViewer is pre-installed on the computer linked to the slide scanner. This software not only allows the digitised tissue specimen to be viewed, but also offers a wide range of processing options. Markings can be created, comments added and several tissue specimens can be viewed in parallel in different colours, to name but a few of the features. To put it simply, the CaseViewer is your gateway to the world of virtual pathology.
