We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable professional to join our team as a Clinical Flow Cytometry Application Specialist. Application Specialist (f/m/x) clinical Flow Cytometry
Your responsibilities
- Support the affiliates and distributors in all application-related issues (installation, demonstration, support in panel design, training, troubleshooting, problem solving for our business in the area of clinical FCM)
- Provide on-site support and 2nd level application support and prepare customized solutions
- Support product presentations of local sales teams for customers
- Support end customers in all application-related questions in cases where no local application support is established
- Develop and conduct product and application trainings for different target groups (SEU, affiliates, distributors and customers, where no local application support is established)
- Develop workshop and seminar content
- Provide dedicated material for applications such as application notes
- Support product tests and evaluations
- Interact closely with the EMEA FCM Marketing team as well as with colleagues in the country organisations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advances and trends in the field of clinical flow cytometry
The development to grow further into the role of a Scientific Marketing Manager is possible in perspective.
Your profile
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in clinical FCM ideally in the flow cytometry laboratory, or as a trainer and/or application specialist
- Vocational training in the laboratory (medical laboratory technician or equivalent) with degree in biology, biotechnology, technology
- Ability to translate complex clinical, medical and diagnostic issues into comprehensive language and illustrations to address the different target groups
- Excellent communication, collaboration, teaching and problem solving skills
- Excellent English skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel (30-50 %) in the EMEA region
