Copywriter & Editor (f/m/x) in Marketing Communications (temporary for 12 months)

This position is limited to a 12 months contract. 

Your responsibilities

  • Create written content regarding our diagnostic medical devices and technologies for websites, print materials, apps, advertorials, social media, short text and subtitles in animations and videos, etc.
  • Work closely together with project managers, creatives and marketing managers to deliver high-quality materials by actively defining and optimising our written content
  • Perform quality checks, proofreading, editing, as well as document approvals
  • Conceptualise ideas as part of marketing campaigns
  • Ensure that published content is of high quality and adds value to the reader, while considering SEO for online materials
  • Write content for business communication such as press releases, news entries and event communication as well as internal communication, such as Viva Engage posts, invitations, etc. 

Your profile

  • 2+ years of work experience as a Copywriter/Editor or relevant experience in the marketing field with a keen interest and proven talent for copywriting. Experience in the medical field is a plus
  • A degree in communications, marketing, natural sciences or other related fields is highly desired
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English including excellent writing and grammar capabilities. Preferably, you are a native English speaker
  • Ability to write scientific/medical content and adapt texts to various target groups, such as patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory technicians, as well as having the skill to translate science into marketing and patient-friendly content
  • An pragmatic, problem-solving and deadline-oriented approach
  • You can follow our working model which includes working 40% on-site in Norderstedt, Germany
